“This recipe assumes you have already made plain rice. You can also do it with minute rice, it comes out great if you’re in a hurry.”


  • Leftover white rice
  • Bean sprouts, chopped
  • Spring onions, chopped
  • (Any other leftover vegetables)


  1. Heat oil in a skillet, add rice.
  2. Add chopped bean sprouts, chopped spring onions, and any other leftover vegetables.
  3. Sprinkle soy sauce on it all, until it looks like the right colour.
  4. Mix it all up while frying.
