Dynamic theatre company Patch Plays now brings their new play Blood on Your Hands to the Southwark Playhouse, London from now until February 3rd 2024.

Blood on Your Hands explores the horrors of animal agriculture through the eyes of two men who work in a slaughterhouse. Kostyantyn was a veterinarian back in Ukraine, and Dan used to be the king of his school. Now, their paths cross in a slaughterhouse breakroom, and an unlikely friendship begins to grow. Dan’s ex-girlfriend, now a vegan activist, tries to make them see the cruelty of their work.

In a workplace rife with toxic masculinity, mental health issues, xenophobia and classism, Blood On Your Hands aims to tell a human story that exposes the cruelty of the meat industry and calls for a world free from animal exploitation.

The team says:

“Bring your non-vegan friends: the play hopes to make you laugh, make you cry, and most importantly, start a conversation.”
