VV TV were delighted to pop along to the media event for the launch of the ethical Orgainc Coconut Oil by VV TV friends Dr Bronners.

VV TV writer Kelly Marie enjoyed her time at leading vegetarian and vegan restaurant Ethos and with the Dr Bronner team who flew in from the USA for the launch.

Dr Bronners are the leaders in coconut oil and their rich heritage in soap making helped them stand out in the market to become the bestselling coconut oil in the US. With five generations of makers the whole Bronners family are advocates of just how important it is to get the product absolutely right but also with the upmost ethos, they think of everything from how to harvest and how to give back to the community.

This circular economy approach is fast being adopted by many but Dr Bronners can say they are the first coconut oil product to use the whole kernel from the seed and have an impressive 11% waste impact which they aim to reduce to 0% in the near future. The coconut oil can be used in many forms as it’s certified for cooking and skin usage. What’s your favourite way to use coconut oil?

Dr. Bronner’s, a global leader in natural, organic and fair trade products, is launching its premium ‘Whole Kernel Virgin Coconut Oil’ into the UK this month.

So in demand in the US that there is often a waiting list, Dr. Bronner’s Coconut Oil is like no other.  Crafted from Dr. Bronner’s own coconut grove in the Coconut Triangle of Sri Lanka, this delicious nutty oil represents part of the company’s investment in fair trade projects to support local farming communities and create products which are not only good for health but also good for the soul.

Dr. Bronner’s President, Mike Bronner and Vice President of Special Operations, Gero Leson, invited VV TV to join them on for a Fair Trade Coconut infused breakfast recently at London’s Ethos find out from about the feel-good ways they farm the coconuts and put the entire coconut to good use with zero waste.
