How To Bake Butternut Squash

In this easy to follow recipe you will learn how to make a sweet and tasty baked butternut squash. Serve as a side dish with roast meats or fish, or as a tasty vegetarian main course.

You will need:

  • 1 Butternut Squash
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Olive Oil
Prep:10 min  Cook : 30m Total: 40m   Serves:4  Temp:390° f  –  200° c

Step 1: Cut the Squash

Snip the end off the squash and cut in half lengthways. Remove the seeds with a big spoon.

Step 2: Prepare

Place the squash pieces an on oven tray. Add some olive oil, salt and pepper. Optionally pour some filtered water into the bottom of the tray.

Step 3: Cook

Cook in the oven until golden, this should take about 30 minutes. Serve with salad or other cooked vegetables.
