Veggie Vision provides a platform for small vegan businesses to upload and share content such as blogs, recipes, events, and videos. We offer subscription plans for businesses to create a public profile and promote their content.

 

3. User Registration

Registration is required to access certain services provided by Veggie Vision. We offer two membership types: business and user. During the registration process, we collect necessary information for account setup and service provision as outlined in our Privacy Policy. By registering, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and consent to the data handling practices described in our Privacy Policy. The information you provide during registration is processed and stored according to our data protection and privacy standards, which are designed to respect your privacy and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

 

4. Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms, outline show we use and protect your personal data. We share your data only with specific third parties that assist in delivering our services, such as our email marketing platform and membership functionality providers. We commit tonot selling your data to outside companies.

 

5. Intellectual Property Rights

You confirm that any content you upload is your own or that you have permission to use it. Veggie Vision is not liable for any copyright infringement related to user-uploaded content. Users are allowed to share content on social media.

 

6. User Conduct

Users are expected to foster a friendly and welcoming community. Content is reviewed before upload to ensure community standards are met. A detailed content policy must be accepted by users, clarifying the ownership and responsibility of uploaded content.

 

7. Dispute Resolution

In the interest of resolving disputes between you and VeggieVision in the most expedient and cost-effective manner, you and Veggie Vision agree that any and all disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions, your use of the website, or the services provided shall be resolved through binding arbitration. Arbitration is more informal than a lawsuit in court and seeks to resolve disputes more quickly. Arbitrators can award the same damages and relief that a court can award.

 

This dispute resolution by arbitration will be governed by the Arbitration Act of 1996 and further amendments or re-enactments thereof.The arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator appointed in accordance with the said Act and will take place in London, UK, or another mutually agreed location.

 

You agree to commence arbitration only in your or VeggieVision’s individual capacity, and not on behalf of anyone else. This means you will not have the right to bring or participate in any class action or collective arbitration against Veggie Vision. Moreover, the arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.

 

Notwithstanding the above, you and Veggie Vision agree that nothing herein shall be deemed to waive, preclude, or otherwise limit either of our rights to (i) bring an individual action in the small claims court of theUK, (ii) pursue enforcement actions through applicable UK regulatory agencies where such actions are available, (iii) seek injunctive relief in a UK court of law, or (iv) to file suit in a court of law to address intellectual property infringement claims.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

Veggie Vision shall not be liable for any errors in content, website downtime, or data loss. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law, and we do not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses.

 

9. Amendments and Termination

Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time. Userswill be notified of changes via email. Accounts may be terminated for violations of our policies, such as misuse of content, copyright infringement, or inappropriate behaviour.

 

10. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remainder willstill apply. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without prior notice.

1. Information Collected:

We collect only the essential personal information when a member signs up, such as their first name, last name, personal email, and personal phone number. This is to enable necessary contact.

For business accounts, we also collect employee name, employee position and employee count. This personal information is private and is not visible to Veggie Vision users.

For public profiles, we collect business name, logo, cover photo, bio, public email address, public phone number, industry, business address, social media links, and website link, all contributed by the user for display and connection purposes.

2. Purpose of Data Collection and GDPR Compliance:

Personal information is collected strictly for the purposes communicated to and consented by the user. This includes using contact details for support and, if expressly consented to, for marketing purposes

Veggie Vision adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by ensuring data is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently, without adversely affecting the rights of the individual.

3. Data Collection Methods:

Data is collected via secure forms, compliant with GDPR standards, during the registration process or user dashboard interactions.

4. Tracking Technologies:

We utilise Google Analytics and pixel technologies, compliant with GDPR, to enhance user experience. Users have the option to opt in and out of such tracking technologies.

5. Cookie Consent:

A GDPR-compliant cookie consent modal is presented to users, detailing cookie use and offering the ability to consent or withdraw consent at any time.

6. Data Processing:

We process sign-up data through GDPR-compliant sub processors: Memberstack for membership management, Make.com for automation, and Webflow and Airtable for content management. Each sub processor is evaluated to ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection laws.

7. Data Storage:

Data is stored on Memberstack and Webflow with GDPR-compliant security measures to prevent unauthorised access and breaches.

8. Security Measures

We implement encryption, access controls, and regular audits, adhering to GDPR's requirement for security of processing.

9. Data Retention:

We retain user data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed, in line with GDPR storage limitation principles. Membership data is kept for the duration of the membership plus a grace period of 12 months post-cancellation, after which it is securely deleted.

10 User Rights:

In addition to the right of data deletion, users have rights under GDPR to access, rectify, port, and object to certain data processing. Requests can be made via info@veggievision.tv.

11. Privacy Concerns:
