HALLOWEEN GHOST PIZZA
Prep time: 60 mins
Makes: 1 pizza
Ingredients:
For the dough:
- 300g flour
- 3g sugar
- 3g salt
- 3g dried yeast
- 180ml water
For the sauce:
- 150g tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
For the topping:
- 1 pack Violife Mozzarella Flavour Slices
- 50g olives
- 50g capers
- Fresh basil, to garnish
- 1 ghost-shaped cutter / cut carefully using a knife
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- To make the pizza dough, add all ingredients to a mixing bowl. Use your hands or a mixer to form a dough. When the dough is ready, form a ball and wrap in cling film and set aside in a warm and dry place.
- Meanwhile make the tomato marinara sauce by blending all ingredients together in a blender until combined.
- Use your cookie cutter, or carefully use a knife, to cut out ghost shapes from the Violife slices.
- Once the dough has doubled in size, roll out into a circle of 30cm. Place in the oven on a lined baking tray for 7-10 minutes. Remove from the oven and use a spoon to add the marinara sauce to the base. Top with your Violife ghosts, using olive slices and capers to give them eyes and bake for a further 5-6 minutes. When the pizza is ready garnish with basil leaves and serve.
