HALLOWEEN GHOST PIZZA

Prep time: 60 mins
Makes: 1 pizza

Ingredients:

For the dough:

  • 300g flour
  • 3g sugar
  • 3g salt
  • 3g dried yeast
  • 180ml water

For the sauce:

  • 150g tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

For the topping:

  • 1 pack Violife Mozzarella Flavour Slices
  • 50g olives
  • 50g capers
  • Fresh basil, to garnish
  • 1 ghost-shaped cutter / cut carefully using a knife

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • To make the pizza dough, add all ingredients to a mixing bowl. Use your hands or a mixer to form a dough. When the dough is ready, form a ball and wrap in cling film and set aside in a warm and dry place.
  • Meanwhile make the tomato marinara sauce by blending all ingredients together in a blender until combined.
  • Use your cookie cutter, or carefully use a knife, to cut out ghost shapes from the Violife slices.
  • Once the dough has doubled in size, roll out into a circle of 30cm. Place in the oven on a lined baking tray for 7-10 minutes. Remove from the oven and use a spoon to add the  marinara sauce to the base. Top with your Violife ghosts, using olive slices and capers to give them eyes and bake for a further 5-6 minutes. When the pizza is ready garnish with basil leaves and serve.

Super thanks to delicious Violife for this fabulous recipe.
