A group of 15 unique and characterful pubs in the south of England have responded to a growing trend in the hospitality sector for more healthy and wholesome plant based dining options.

Each pub’s highly trained chef has created their own menu, with dishes on offer such as the Navigator’s ‘wild mushroom & roast garlic gnocchi with crispy sprouts’, the Hawk Inn’s ‘Tofu Fajita, guacamole, salsa, chive vegan mayo and “cheese”, as well as a number of delectable vegan burger offerings.

And we know here at VeggieVision TV – as we have had the pleasure of trying several of their vegan friendly dishes – and we were rather impressed.

David Butcher, Upham’s CEO, told us about earlier this year:

“Historically, January is a slow time for pubs as people find their trousers a little tighter and their wallets a little lighter after Christmas. Our success has always been put down to our eagerness to listen to our customers. Last year our vegan dishes proved hugely popular, and this year we’ve expanded our offering. Veganuary is the perfect opportunity for us all to eat a little healthier and have a great impact on the environment, too.”

“I want to thank our dedicated and talented chefs for taking the time to create these delicious menus. I’m delighted they have been so well received by our customers.”

The Upham Pub group is a family of 15 pubs across the south of England, each of which has their own unique style and character. Look here to check out the unique offerings of the Upham group.
