OGGS®

For the first time we can buy a real vegan spongy cake anywhere! Thanks OGGS!

Already known for having a sweet reputation, OGGS® has created a fantastic chocolate Celebration Cake.

Like the rest of the OGGS® range every element of the cake, including the edible stars and glitter sprinkled over the top, is vegan friendly, with the sponge itself made using OGGS®  patented Aquafaba; an all-plant liquid egg substitute.

Beyond being vegan, that means our plastic packaging is made from recycled material and is not only fully recyclable but also biodegradable in landfill ensuring not matter which bin it ends up it, we won’t damage the planet or the animal on it.

And we have to say….. we flipping LOVE OGGS here at VV TV!

Lizi’s Granola is GM free and is vegan friendly, thanks to the treacle used to bind the oats, instead of honey. Yay! Leave the bees alone!

Pure 100% maple syrup and whole pecans have been combined to create a rich and naturally sweet flavour, along with a range of good-for-you, natural ingredients such as toasted oats, almonds, walnuts, coconut, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and pecans.

We love these new bars from MadeGood – and nut free so great to pop in the school lunch box. Every bar is packed full of organic all-natural ingredients – from dried fruits and wholegrains.

MadeGood are here to help make the start of 2020 (and the new decade!) a healthy one. They’re 100% vegan thanks to the syrup that binds the oats . As well as being vegan, MadeGood are the first ever allergen free granola snack bar that’s safe to eat in schools and workplaces!

The bars are delicious for all the family, as the yummy and comforting flavours bring in family favourites such as chocolate chip, banana and mixed berry so each mouthful is a real treat as well as a truly healthy snack.

Some unusual and vegan friendly flavours Podberry’s pea snacks are made with real peas which have been freeze-dried, locking in all of their green goodness and nutrients, and giving them their signature crunch!

And because their Sea Salt & Balsamic Vinegar, Sweet Chilli, Parmesan & Truffle and Ham Hock flavoured snacks are dried not fried, it makes them a deliciously tasty snack that are low in calories, low in fat and a wonderful source of plant protein.

Each crunchy little Podberry pea pops with natural flavour, making them the perfect choice for healthy snacking, as a treat, or on the go.

“We really want everyone to be able to enjoy Podberry peas, so we made them gluten-free and vegan-friendly.”

Cuzena

We enjoyed these new bean dips with some tortilla chips, great on the side with some steam veggies too.

Cuzena, a new food brand which produces Ful Madamous, a Middle Eastern, vegan dip made of British farmed fava beans, based on a 5,000 year old Arabian recipe.

It comes in three delicious flavours – Garlic & Coriander, Caramelised Onion and Fiery Chilli. Pics attached.

The dips are high in protein and full of vitamins but 75% lower in calories than the average hummus. The dips are completely plant-based recipes and are naturally gluten-free and suitable for those on a dairy-free/lactose intolerant or coeliac diet. They can be eaten hot or cold, as a main ingredient or a side dish and have been designed for sharing in the Arabic ‘one-plate’ tradition.

Super thanks to all of these lovely companies who sent us these vegan products to test out in this advertisement feature.
