How long you have been vegan/ Veggie
I have been vegetarian on and off for several years now. But the most solidly for the last 2 years.
Why vegan/ veggie
Don't get me wrong I loved the taste and flavours of meat and I would have once counted myself the most carnivorous of people! But one day I woke up and my body just didn't want meat anymore, they say we have to listen to our bodies and so I did! I have more energy, processing times are easier and quicker and I just don't feel sluggish anymore. Apparently we all have different alimentary canals and some are suited to being vegetarian, so I guess I am one of those people!
Presenting/ acting experience / other interesting stuff you do
I used to do sport and news presenting a few years ago. Then I took a foray into the auction TV world, after that I did some radio podcasting for Podshow and now Veggie Vision. I love writing and travelling and ideally talking to people about their passions. I guess I am a true journalist and am inquisitive through and through! I like listening to people's stories, there are lots out there.
Favourite Food
I love brown rice risotto with butternut squash and mushrooms, or aubergines. As far as cuisine goes I can pretty much cook anything and love trying out new recipes, minus a cookbook! I think experimenting with food is a great way to learn what you like, and you don't beat yourself up when it goes wrong! Make your own standards is what I say!
Favourite way to chill out
I like music and watching live gigs of bands before they were famous.
Perfect date
Something simple, with good food - I'm not scared of eating in front of people or getting sauce down my top!Just good honest company and conversation will make any date great.
Who inspires you and why
No specific person stands out but a type of people more than anything. So it would have to be genuine people who a have worked hard to achieve their goals. People who have the strength of character to keep pushing on through for what they believe in despite the difficulties they face. I suppose I mean people who don't follow the herd and are confident enough to be different.

It needs updating though!
Anything else
I want to meet new people who will help me on my journey! It's a long one and there are TV roles to be had and books to be written, so if anyone can help I would love to hear from them!
