VeggieVision TV is proud to work closely with VegfestUK and delighted that the recent London event saw a great deal of media coverage, attracted experts, media and celebrities and had 15K people celebrating veganism over the weekend. 20161022_131238-2
And we are very excited to let you know the dates for 2017 – add them to diary as soon as you can!
Just under 15,000 people (13,500 visitors and 1,400 people working at the event) were at VegfestUK London promoting the hugely growing vegan lifestyle festival, which has become one of Europe’s biggest vegan events and entered its 4th successive year at Olympia London.
This coming weekend sees the 2nd Vegfest Scotland too.
“What an incredible festival. A great party atmosphere with a positive vegan message too. We have had feedback from so many people to say how inspired they were after the festival, no matter what their lifestyle and dietary habits too.”
Vegan or not we welcome everyone to the VegfestUK festivals and receiving such positive feedback so far is really the icing on the egg free cake.” Operations Manager Dr Alan Lee.
“Born out of organising raves, from a small vegan festival attracting a few 100 people in Bristol 15 years ago to now hiring Olympia and having one of the biggest vegan events in Europe. It’s an incredible journey and one that we continue to grow and hosting the UK’s first Vegan Trade Show in 2017.”
Tim Barford VegfestUK Founder and Manager.
“Presenting in the main auditorium introducing our inspirational speakers from America and Europe all weekend gave me an opportunity to ask the audience some questions. It was wonderful to hear how excited and inspired so many people were, making conscious positive dietary and lifestyle changes from vegetarian to vegan, from meat eating to vegan and the people who are already vegan feeling excited and more confident too.”

Among the new exciting features of the event are the Vegan Athletes Summit, with a number of highly achieving vegan sportspeople talking about their achievements, and a Pro-Intersectional Vegan Conference on Sunday with a number of sessions on the intersections of various social justice issues from a vegan perspective.
There was something to enjoy for almost everybody, with the VegfestUK combination of 250 stalls, 20 caterers, a Vegan Health Summit, a Vegan Activists Summit, Cookery Demos, a Living Raw Zone, Performances, a Mature Zone and a Teen Zone, striking a lovely balance between food, shopping, education, entertainment and socialising on a marvelous day out for all.
VegfestUK has also just confirmed its plan to host its first-ever vegan trade show at the same venue on the Friday October 20th 2016, followed by its hugely successful consumer event on the weekend October 21st 22nd 2017. Website to go live for bookings in February 2017.
